Located south of Noonu Atoll, Lhaviyani is one of the major industrial atolls in the country. First fish canning factory was opened in Felivary in this atoll and is still in operation. The canery is owned and operated by a governmented company called MIFCO.
Located south of Vaavu, is Meemu Atoll. A local airport is under construction at Muli, the capital island of the atoll. Medhufushi and Hakuraa are the resorts in operation, additional resorts are under construction.
